Alley Cat Music's monthly at 404.exe undergoes a significant shift with the launch of Power Haüs—a rebrand that signals a return to foundational nightlife principles. Moving from the last Saturday to the second Saturday of each month, Power Haüs introduces a dual-room format built around a single curatorial vision: one DJ per space, full creative control, from open to close.
The concept reflects a deliberate rejection of the opening DJ rotation model that has become standard in contemporary club culture. Instead, Power Haüs revives an approach rooted in the legacy of spaces like Paradise Garage—where a selector's artistic range and vision shaped the entire night's trajectory and ultimately birthed the DJ legend that was Larry Levan. This framework allows artists to demonstrate their depth across genres and create genuine sonic narratives rather than fill predetermined slots.
The Club Room pulses with high-energy house, techno, electro, EBM, and breaks. The Café offers a counterpoint: a chill-out refuge exploring down-tempo, IDM, funk, jazz, and lounge. Both spaces operate as complete artistic statements, allowing attendees to move between distinct vibes while remaining within a cohesive event framework.
For the inaugural edition on March 14th, Titino commands the Club Room for five uninterrupted hours. A co-founder of Mithra Recordings and key figure in Bloom ATL, his releases on Purism Wave and HOWL Label establish serious credentials across house, techno, Italo, EBM, and electro. PLAYR1 takes the Café, bringing his musical curiosity and the ethos of Jes Grew—a party series rooted in Black cultural expression and the freedom to dig deeper—to a space designed for introspection and discovery.
Power Haüs represents a commitment to artistic integrity and the belief that trust in the DJ remains essential to meaningful nightlife.
